Please read these Terms carefully before using Anifira. By accessing or using any part of the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Anifira.

1. Who We Are

Anifira (“Anifira,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is a decentralized, random peer-to-peer (P2P) chat platform that connects independent adult users through direct one-on-one text, voice, and video conversations. Our servers provide signaling infrastructure solely to match users from a pool, after which a direct WebRTC connection takes over browser-to-browser. The service is accessible at anifira.com.

2. What These Terms Cover

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of:

  • The Anifira website
  • The random matching pool and signaling service
  • Account creation and profile features
  • Payment and subscription features

By accessing or using any part of Anifira — including as a guest — you agree to be bound by these Terms. By choosing to click connect, you explicitly grant consent to be matched with a random stranger and establish a direct connection with their device.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirement

Anifira is strictly an adults-only platform. You must be at least 18 years old to use any part of this service.

By confirming your age at the start of a session, you are making a legal declaration that you meet this requirement. This confirmation is logged with a timestamp and session identifier for safety and legal-compliance purposes.

If you are under 18, you may not use Anifira under any circumstances. If we discover or have reason to believe a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their infrastructure access and ban the associated identifier or IP address.

3.2 Legal Capacity

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction.

3.3 Geographic Availability

Anifira is accessible globally. If the laws of your jurisdiction prohibit use of platforms of this nature, you must not use Anifira. It is your responsibility to ensure your use complies with local law.

4. Account and Guest Access

4.1 Guest Mode

You may use core features of Anifira without creating an account. As a guest, you are assigned a temporary session identifier, and matching session data is cleared when your session ends.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Anifira only in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner. Because connections are direct and unmoderated by a central server, you are directly responsible for all media, video, audio, and text you transmit from your device.

5.1 Absolute Prohibitions

The following result in an immediate, permanent ban from the matching pool without prior warning, mandatory reporting to law enforcement where infrastructure logs permit, and no right of appeal:

  • Exploitation of Minors — producing, transmitting, or requesting any content that exploits or depicts minors, or attempting to use the matching pool to communicate with minors.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery — broadcasting or transmitting intimate images or recordings of another person without their clear, affirmative consent.
  • Credible threats of violence against any person, group, or institution.
  • Sexual commerce — soliciting, arranging, advertising, or facilitating commercial sexual services or any exchange of compensation for sexual activity.

5.2 Prohibited Behaviors

The following will result in infrastructure-level enforcement up to and including permanent bans:

  • Harassing, intimidating, stalking, or abusing other users.
  • Impersonating another person, organization, or Anifira staff.
  • Flooding the matching network, spamming, advertising, or promoting third-party products or services.
  • Transmitting malicious scripts, phishing links, or malware directly to peers.
  • Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the matching pool or disrupt the matching system.
  • Attempting to circumvent bans, network restrictions, or platform safety features.
  • Recording another user’s voice, video, or image without their explicit consent.

5.3 Your Obligations

You agree to:

  • Be honest about your age and intentions.
  • Treat all matched users with basic human respect and dignity.
  • Disconnect immediately if you do not wish to view or interact with a matched user.
  • Use the report feature when you encounter a violation of these platform guidelines.

6. Decentralized P2P Interactions

Because Anifira operates as a peer-to-peer network, you acknowledge and agree to the following architectural realities:

  • No Media Interception: Text, images, audio, and video streams are transmitted directly between your browser and your chat partner’s browser via WebRTC. They are never routed through, processed, or stored by our servers.
  • No Server-Side Blurring or Filtering: We do not apply central image blurring, media filtering, or real-time stream modification. Media exchange happens entirely by mutual user interaction on a direct basis.
  • Assumption of Risk: By using the platform, you acknowledge that you are connecting directly to a stranger’s device and may be exposed to unfiltered, unexpected, or objectionable content before you choose to skip or disconnect.

7. Reporting and Enforcement

7.1 How to Report

A report option is accessible during every session, covering harassment, suspected minors, spam, or dangerous behavior.

7.2 Report Review

Our team reviews submitted reports against infrastructure logs [such as connection duration, matching patterns, and IP history](cite: 1). Because we do not log or intercept the P2P media streams, text logs, or video feeds, enforcement relies on user-submitted report details and network metadata. False or malicious reporting may result in a ban against the reporting party.

7.3 Enforcement Action

Verified violations of these Terms will result in a formal warning, temporary suspension from the matching pool, or permanent infrastructure-level bans based on the severity of the network abuse.

8. Appeals

Users who receive a permanent platform ban may submit a formal appeal for manual review.

  • Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the ban.
  • Appeals are reviewed by a human member of our Trust & Safety team.
  • The decision following a completed appeal is final.
  • Bans related to minor safety or illegal exploitation are non-appealable.

9. Content and Intellectual Property

9.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the text and media you create and share. Because transmissions are peer-to-peer, you grant us no license to store your content, only a transient technical right to facilitate the WebRTC signaling handshake required to deliver the data to your chat partner. You represent that you have the right to share any content you send.

9.2 Our Intellectual Property

All platform design, branding, code, and original matching algorithms are the property of Anifira and its licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without prior written permission.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

10.1 Free Features

Core features — including matching for text, voice, and video chat — are free and do not require registration.

10.2 Paid Subscriptions

Optional paid tiers unlock additional configuration features. Pricing and features are presented clearly at the time of purchase.

10.3 Payment Processors

Payments are handled entirely by trusted third-party processors. Anifira does not store, access, or receive your full payment card details.

10.4 Refunds

Subscription purchases are generally non-refundable once activated, except where consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

10.5 No Peer-to-Peer Payments

All payments on Anifira are exclusively for platform features. Anifira does not facilitate transfers of money or items of value between users. Soliciting or arranging payment from another user is a violation of these Terms and results in immediate termination.

11. Third-Party Services

Anifira relies on third-party providers for core infrastructure, including security routing, STUN/TURN connection traversal networks, and payment processing. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Disclaimers

12.1 No Control Over Users

Anifira connects independent users directly via P2P connections. We do not, and technically cannot, monitor your live communications or streams, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform. You engage with other users entirely at your own risk.

12.2 Service “As Is”

Anifira is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

12.3 No Guaranteed Outcomes

We do not guarantee that you will be matched with any particular type of user or that any connection will lead to a specific outcome.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anifira, its operators, employees, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; loss of data; exposure to offensive or illegal material transmitted directly by another user; emotional distress caused by another user; or outcomes resulting from your reliance on the matching service.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded, Anifira’s total cumulative liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Anifira in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50. Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Anifira and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third party’s rights, or content you transmit directly through the platform.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

If you are a user in the European Union, you retain rights under the laws of your member state that cannot be waived. California residents retain any rights available under the CCPA or other applicable law. All disputes regarding platform operations will be handled under the primary operating jurisdiction of the platform operators.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of Anifira after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, that provision is severable and does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
